The Dean of Zarqa Technical College Meets with New Students for the 2024/2025 Academic Year As part of Zarqa Technical College's commitment to enhancing communication with its students, Professor Ghida Abu Roman, the Dean of the College, met with new students on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The meeting was attended by the Vice Dean, department heads, and faculty members. Professor Ghida began the meeting by welcoming the new students, emphasizing the importance of reviewing the Student Guide to understand academic regulations and policies. She encouraged them to actively participate in the activities and workshops organized by the college to develop their skills and prepare them for the labor market. She also presented the college's future strategic plan, highlighting the ongoing updates to its academic facilities and integration of the latest scientific tools. The Vice Dean, Dr. Mohammad Jbara, and department heads, including Mr. Hassan Anabi, Mr. Mohammad Abu Al-Heija, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Eisawi, Eng. Kholoud Bani Salama, and Ms. Layla Abu Rashid, gave brief introductions about the programs offered at the college and the opportunities available to students during and after graduation. Professor Ghida Abu Roman announced the launch of the "Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiatives" and encouraged students to join, emphasizing their academic and practical benefits. She reiterated the college’s and students' strong support for the positions of His Majesty King Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II, especially concerning Arab causes, including the Palestinian cause. Professor Ghida expressed her gratitude to Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, for his continuous support, particularly in upgrading the college's infrastructure and laboratories. At the end of the meeting, outstanding and creative students were honored. Each was commended for their excellence in their respective fields: Mohammad Raafat Karkar (Cybersecurity major) Rama Adnan (Digital Media graduate) Abdul-Salam Yaser Youssef Al-Zawahreh (Digital Media major) Omar Ezzedine Ayoub (former graduate in Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance).
