About the major

The Architecture and Interior Design Specialty was introduced at Zarqa Technical Middle College at the beginning of the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The Architecture Engineering Specialty, part of the Architectural, Civil, and Environmental Technology Program, is one of the leading disciplines required in the local, regional, and global labor market, offered in both public and private colleges.
In this specialty, we aim to provide high-quality technical vocational education to students, preparing them to graduate as distinguished and effective professionals in the design process.
Our students work closely with engineers and specialists in the field of architecture and interior design. Graduates are equipped with comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of architecture, along with expertise in interior design techniques, construction, building materials technology, functional and aesthetic considerations, as well as mechanical and electrical systems. They also gain proficiency in various software tools essential for the field. This ensures the success and excellence of graduates in professional practice, while also preparing them to continue their studies in bachelor's degree programs at both public and private universities.
The Study Plan for the Architecture and Interior Design/Architectural, Civil, and Environmental Technology Program for the Intermediate University Degree consists of 72 credits, distributed as follows:
