About the major

The Maintenance of Electric and Hybrid Vehicles specialization has become increasingly significant due to rapid technological advancements and the growing demand for expertise in the field. This program focuses on the analysis, design, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in vehicles. Established in 2018 at Zarqa Middle Technical College, the department aims to train professionals who are experts in this emerging field. The diploma program is taught by highly qualified faculty members, including master's degree holders and experienced engineers, who provide both theoretical and hands-on training to students.

Section Vision
The program is designed to produce highly skilled automotive technicians capable of diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as internal combustion engines. By incorporating the latest technologies, the program aligns with the sixth level of the National Qualifications Framework and prepares graduates to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.
