Automotive Maintenance Engineering Team Wins Zarqa Technical College League Championship

Under the patronage of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shaera, Chairman of Zarqa Company for Education and Investment, the Zarqa Technical College Football League concluded on December 24, 2024, with the Automotive Maintenance Engineering team defeating the Technical Accounting team by a score of 1-0. The final match was attended by the President of Zarqa University, Prof. Nidal Al-Rumaihi; the Dean of Zarqa Technical College, Prof. Ghaida Abu Roman; the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Majed Musaadah; the Deputy Dean of Zarqa Technical College, Dr. Mohammed Jabara; along with several faculty members and students. The championship, organized by Zarqa Technical College in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs - Sports Activity Division, spanned three days of high-spirited competition, featuring intense matches among teams from various specializations. Prof. Ghaida Abu Roman emphasized that the college organizes numerous sports activities throughout the year as part of its vision to encourage students and staff to engage in physical activities, given their positive impact on achieving life balance. She added that the tournament serves as an opportunity for students to exchange experiences and knowledge, fostering greater collaboration between students and faculty members. At the closing ceremony, Prof. Ghaida Abu Roman presented the championship trophy and medals to the teams that placed first and second.
