Signing of Cooperation Agreements between Zarqa University, Zarqa Technical College, and the Indonesian State Islamic University.

Signing of Memoranda of Understanding Between Zarqa University, Zarqa Technical College, and the Islamic State University of Quds in Indonesia Under the patronage of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Sha'ira, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zarqa Education and Investment Company, and in the presence of His Excellency Indonesian Ambassador to Jordan, Mr. Edi Soerano, two memoranda of understanding (MOUs) were signed on Sunday, November 3, 2024, between Zarqa University and the Islamic State University of Quds and between Zarqa Technical College and the Islamic State University of Quds in Indonesia. The ceremony was attended by the President of Zarqa University, Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi, the Dean of Zarqa Technical College, Professor Dr. Ghida Abu Rman, the Dean of Admission and Registration, Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Zayadeen, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Omar Al-Mukhzomi, and the Vice Dean of Zarqa College, Dr. Mohammed Jabara. Also present were members of the Indonesian Embassy staff and the President and members of the Jordanian-Indonesian Friendship Association. The agreements aim to explore avenues for joint cooperation between the parties, strengthening academic, technical, and cultural collaboration between Zarqa University, Zarqa Technical College, and the Islamic State University of Quds in Indonesia. Professor Dr. Nidal Al-Ramahi emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations between Zarqa University and Indonesian universities, noting that the exchange of academic and cultural experiences would strengthen the ties between Jordan and Indonesia in the fields of education, training, and scientific research. Professor Dr. Ghida Abu Rman highlighted the importance of activating joint cooperation in technical and vocational fields between Indonesian universities and Zarqa Technical College. She also reviewed the college’s development phases, the programs introduced, and the goals for enhancing the implementation of these agreements. In turn, the Indonesian Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Zarqa University’s efforts in advanced academic education and confirmed the embassy’s desire to enhance academic cooperation. He praised the university's good reputation in Indonesia and the prominent role it plays in supporting bilateral relations between the two countries. At the end of the visit, the Indonesian delegation was presented with honorary plaques from the university. The delegation then toured the university's facilities and expressed their admiration and amazement at the development of Zarqa University and Zarqa Technical College.
